What is functional nutrition?
I started researching nutrition to reduce stress and gain clarity of mind.
But then I started to understand the science behind our microbiome, how it functions as our second brain. Did you know, for example, that most of the serotonin in your body is produced in your gut? I understood how dramatically different our mood is, our anxiety and our energy when we feed our body with real nutrients.
I realised that choosing our meals and understanding labels and ingredients in the supermarket is uncovering a whole new world of information, it is a process that takes quite some time.
Functionally choosing what we eat, with our personal goals in mind is key to our empowerment and to being able to achieve any kind of goal we set for ourselves. This is one of the most profoundly effective aspects of your health and life you can influence the easiest. It is right at your fingertips. Every day!
